O.K. so I’ve only had two college roommates in my two years of college.
Let me just say that after my horrible roommate experience last year, I’ve been in a single dorm ever since.
I’ve watched Youtube video after Youtube video about why you should get a random roommate. The bullshit about making a friend for life in college and my mom telling me it could be a really great thing, kind of made me reconsider my anxiety towards roommates.
So I jumped in with two roommates my freshman year of college and guess what?
It was exactly what I expected…trash.
By far switching to a single dorm was the best decision of my life.
Here’s why.

I’m a pretty closed off person. With that said, I hate it when people keep asking me a million and one questions about my personal life.
Nine times out of ten those people are being evasive and I hate that.
Before the school year even started, me and my other two roommates got each others’ number and created a group chat.
