In a popular culture of drinking beer, eating hot dogs, and going to night clubs with your friends, football is a good way for college kids to have fun.
As a matter of fact, it’s an AMAZING way for college kids to have fun.
It’s a mindless pass time that causes you to forget your life problems for a few hours as soon as you enter the stadium.
It’s great to be ignorant. If you could mix football and ignorance together in a bottle, it would be a trillion dollar drug.
But instead of zoning out it’s time to come back to reality and the reality of the situation is that human trafficking is background noise when it comes to football culture.
Human trafficking was at an all-time high in 2019.
A few months ago, there was a safety notice sent out to Ohio State students telling us to beware of a man driving in a car with a cardboard Uber sign on his windshield.
The man was driving around saying he was an Uber. Then he kept patronizing a girl to get into his car. It’s a good thing the girl was cautious and got away to safety.
