You Don’t Need Perfect Grammar to Write Quality Articles

It’s just a language test.

“What’s the singular possessive of each plural noun?”

I squirmed at my desk in disbelief.

“Are they serious?” I said.

I applied for a job position that requires you to write 80% of the time. I couldn’t believe people were STILL such sticklers about grammar.

The writing job wasn’t even formal writing. You could write freely.

With the advancement of technology, and all the grammar checkers we have on our computers now, what’s the point?

A lot of my favorite bloggers said they’re terrible at grammar.

And guess what?

You don’t need grammar knowledge to build your skills as a writer. I’m convinced at this point that employers use grammar tests to make sure said person has basic knowledge of the English language.

If you know English well enough, you can be a successful blogger with no problem.

My most successful articles are NEVER the most grammatically correct.

Heck, I had a few spelling errors in one of my viral articles.

Yet it’s still doing well because of one component — emotion.

If you have that, you’re in the clear. The grammar doesn’t matter. If it resonates with readers, that’s great writing.
