Today is a grueling day. We lost a hero who gave black children someone to look up to. Who showed black children that they could be superheroes too. Who gave life to many other historical black figures such as Thurgood Marshall, Jackie Robinson, and James Brown.
All while battling stage four colon cancer.
Today we lost Chadwick Boseman (RIP) — a real hero who wanted to share his gift with the world even though his cancer wanted to hold him down.
Here’s why it’s not too late to make an impact with your gift now.
It takes time to find your passion, but when you do, you just gotta go.
It took me twenty years to figure out my passion is writing.
It might take you longer, shorter, just as much.
However long it takes for you to find it (because that’s out of our control), you have to go. If you don’t, you’re doing a huge disservice to yourself and the people you could impact.
