This small moment will define you for the rest of your life. I’m not joking.
Every day around 4pm, I walk outside of my dorm and all I see are skateboarders.
They do this almost every day of the week in which they just hang out in front of the gym and do skateboard tricks in front of it.
I’m embarrassed for them.
With so many people on campus that walk by that gym, they stick out like a sore thumb. Especially when they fail.
It’s a lot more obvious when they do a trick wrong because they almost eat cement.
But even though I feel embarrassed for them at times…I’m always envious of them. Even though they fall on their faces a lot, they still manage to get back up and try again.
That moment is the moment that separates you from everyone else. That small window.
But what’s so important about this tiny window that sets everyone apart?
It shows you what you’re NOT meant to do.
