The most important lesson to take with you in 2020.
You know what the hardest lesson I’ve ever learned about New Years Day is?
New Years resolutions can bite you in the ass if you don’t back them up.
But for some reason I always found myself making HUGE commitments before next year began and failing in the first month.
One of the most generic and probably the most played out resolution is to be healthier (at least for my family). Become a vegetarian and actually exercise for more than ten minutes. Chuckles. Like that will ever happen.
Why?
Because I like to finish long-term goals with no excuses when I set them. Otherwise there’s no point in setting it.
I found this impossible to do on a whim and this is probably why I backed out so quickly. In fact, I ended up getting Chick-fil-a the next day.
The most important thing I figured out is that these long term goals aren’t supposed to be done quickly.
They are supposed to be dealt with in moderation.
