Can Revolution Happen Multiple Times at Once?

Intersectionality requires you to fight harder.

I once heard that revolution is like a car.

Some people are the steering wheel, some are the breaks, and so forth.

Why do I say this? Revolution is a shocking political word to think about. It’s in your face and painfully provocative.

Revolution requires dismantling. White supremacy is also a car. Mass incarceration each wheel, Police brutality is the driver’s seat, etc.

The only way to stop a car is with another car, but is the car of revolution too wonky to control?

We’re only focused on one goal and once we get there — we’ll come back for you.

Intersectional people are like the minority of the minority. I’m a double minority meaning I’m black and a woman. And forget about the triple minorities, they have it the worst.

I’ve seen multiple situations in the black community when we expect everyone who is black to fight for the racial equality, but when problems concerning women or the L.G.B.T.Q+ community arise — crickets.

Almost as if no one can play video games and eat popcorn at the same time. This one-at-a-time rhetoric is beginning to get toxic.
