3 Things Every 18 Year Old Should Know Living in This Generation

It’s not easy, but doable.

I’m 19 years old now and damn.

I always thought being 18 was about getting the hell out of high school, getting lottery tickets, and having no curfew.

Let’s just say it didn’t really turn out as good as it sounds.

But I’ve come to realize that I’m not a boomer. This isn’t the age of listen to Rock n Roll, drink, and have sex. Nor is this the age of “get a job and start a family immediately”.

This is a whole new generation, and to survive in this generation as an adult, I had to learn these three things.

If you don’t go digital, you were born in the wrong generation.

I was born in the year 2000 so I grew up with smartphones.

So it never really rung a bell to me that smartphones are taking over the world, it was just something I had and I used, not really noticing who else was using it.

This all changed when I stocked my friends on social media (don’t worry it’s not as creepy as it seems).

EVERYONE had an Instagram and I was the only one that barely touched the app.
